The mission of the Circle of Care Foundation is to assist families in the Bucks and Montgomery County areas that are facing difficult times due to an illness or tragedy.

The Woody’s Circle of Care Foundation was established in 1999 by a group of friends who graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1982.  Sadly, a series of tragic events struck family members from the group and they banded together to hold a golf outing in September of 1999.  The event was pulled together quickly and the funds which were raised were given to the families in need; but they didn’t want the giving to end there.

Each of the friends felt that they were fortunate in so many ways and wanted to continue to give back to others in their community who needed help.  Thus, the Woody’s Circle of Care Foundation was established and has been running successfully since.

The foundation was established in memory of David “Woody” McDonald.  Woody was a caring father who devoted his time and energy for the benefit of his friends, family, and community.  It is the objective of this foundation to carry forward Woody’s spirit and continue his message of caring for others.
